This vintage 1974-75 Boston Bruins adidas black jersey has been personally autographed b by one of the NHL’s best defensemen, Bobby Orr. Orr spent 10 illustrious NHL seasons with the Boston Bruins. It began during the 1966-1967 season when he skated for the first time in the jersey and NHL. Orr impressed the league by finishing his rookie season with 41 points. This led Orr to winning the Calder Memorial Trophy, that year for rookie of the year. During his time in the league, Bobby Orr reformed the traditional defenseman style. Although he was able to shut down key players during the era, such as Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr had a strong offensive game; scoring and assisting on a nightly basis.
The 1979 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and eight time Norris Trophy winner, is the only defenseman to ever win the Art Ross Trophy as the Top scorer in the NHL. He finished his career with 270 goals and 645 assists for a total of 915 points. Bobby Orr’s name currently sits on the Stanley Cup twice and has his jersey No.4 hanging from the rafters of TD Garden, never to be worn again by any Boston Bruins player. Bobby Orr was recognized once again for his efforts in the league once again during the 2017 NHL Centennial Season, as being remembered as the one of the Top 100 Players of All-Time. Add this jersey to your collection in honour of one of the leagues greatest defenseman to ever play the game.
This jersey comes complete with a Frameworth hologram and certificate of authenticity to ensure the legitimacy of the signature.
