This officially licensed Toronto Maple Leafs logo puck has been signed by hometown kid, John Tavares. Drafted first overall by the New York Islanders in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, he would play nine seasons on Long Island before signing as a free agent with his favorite childhood team, the Maple Leafs. In his first season with the Leafs, he played in all 82 games registering a career high 88 points and leading the Leafs to a playoff berth. Tavares has been named to six NHL All-Star Games and was a finalist for the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2015. He has represented Canada numerous times on the international stage, highlighted by a Gold Medal in the 2014 Winter Olympics along with gold medals from the World Championships, World Cup of Hockey, and World Junior Championship.
